Professional Experience

Assistant to the Director/Curatorial Intern, ZeroOne San Jose: A Global Festival of Art on the Edge & the Thirteenth International Symposium of Electronic Art (ISEA2006), May 15th to August 15th 2006

Assisted Steve Dietz, Director. Responsibilities included:
• Co-Manager of Cellular Memory, a curatorial project for citywide
communication and description of artworks to festival visitors via cell
phones,
• Lead producer on multiple artist projects: organized artists’ travel and
accommodations; ordered necessary technological equipment and
accessories, managed installation and de-installation organizational needs,
• Led daily public educational tours of artworks located in downtown San
Jose for the duration of the Festival,
• Drafting of government, private, and corporate sponsorship proposals for
the support and presentation of international artists and artworks,
• Drafting of artwork and project exhibition didactics,
• Drafting of artist bios and artwork, project and exhibition descriptions for
Festival program guide,
• Assisted with proofing and editing of the Festival program guide,
• Handled email correspondence and general office needs.

• Partnerned with Assitant Curator to conceptualize, organize, and install

• Updated gallery database, adding archived catalogue essays and exhibition
