Statement
My work borrows from the sites of
the retail industry and the structures
of institutional architecture. I
focus on the corporate world-view
of interchangeability, exchangeability,
and replaceability, as proposals
and models for the future. Then
I relocate these aspirations back
in to the products and objects of
these spaces making them perform
their own logic. Each piece creates
a utopia unto itself which not only
denies the thing of its function
but excludes us. .
