Artist Statement
These are images of an ongoing project of assemblage that involves bought/found objects and objects/images generated by myself. This includes boxes, garbage cans, shower curtains, and other objects that are often utilitarian in nature. I am interested in objects that almost become invisible by how present they are in day-to-day life.
A lot of the objects I use/create have multiple purposes and are often used more than once, and I feel my practice should follow suit. Thus, most of my working method is rooted in ideas of collage and (re)assemblage, both literally, and conceptually.
