Artist Statement
My work looks at the construction of story through modern technology.  I play with narrative structures through corporate devices of communication like email, text messages, voicemail, Facebook, and webcams.

I am interested in the limits of language and machines to convey lived experience and human emotion.  I find that fiction rises from accounts filtered and framed through screens and I am fascinated.  An individual's perception is constantly intercepted and appropriated by technology.

I use video to uncover the intersection between text, speech, and the framed image in today's information exchange.
