Artist Statement I draw and paint from life.
To spend actual time with people in this day of technological subjugation is something I have found to be a significant necessity to my emotional well being. This is why I make portraits. I want real interaction.
Looking into your eyes says more than actual words.
Hearing the tone of your voice means everything. This is what I try to capture with my sitters. The other works are the manifestations of my imagination. They are the creatures inside my head that come out and play.
