Artist Statement
My work deals with situations of uncertainty and awkwardness, fear and pleasure, pain and endurance. I like to investigate these possibilities through conducting interviews with people with various backgrounds. Recently my interest in capturing sounds and conversations has led me to explore the possibilities of how I can further these collection of voices and use them to create a narrative about desires, dreams, migration, and adapting to a new culture; being the 'other' amongst the 'other'.
