Artist Statement
I research. I laugh. I cook. How do these interests merge? As a dual degree candidate in the Fine Art and Visual and Critical Studies programs, my interdisciplinary work is invested in the construction of our sensory perception. With Edward Said and Willy Wonka among my greatest influences, my installation and event-based art practice creates an opportunity to nibble, sniff, and touch.
