Artist Statement
Organismhood (n): The state or condition of being an organism. On a planet heaving with life, I want to know what “organismhood” means. I have always wanted to cut the world in half and look inside. I want to make the unseen seen, from looking inside my own body to fabricating an elaborate future in which new life arises from plasticized oceans. Currently I am working with the vernacular of video game to explore the space we create with scientific diagrams.
