Artist Statement
My artistic and world perspective was forged in a furnace of addiction, disillusion and deception. As a result, my life seems to neatly fluctuate between abandon and control, cynicism and earnestness, safety and danger; I am progressively enchanted by the rhythm of these fluctuations.

The soul of this desire is a perceived conflict between reality and illusion, which consistently forces me to question what is real, and what is false; I often find that my own senses are generally not reliable source for interrogation. It is between the irreconcilable and tangible that my art exists.

My work is an exploration and attempt to grapple within the nature of reality and illusion. I attain solace not through parsing and defining levels of authenticity, like the modernist or scientist; rather, I interpret meaning through the collision of artifacts in space, and the birth of new experiences. I thrive in the the nebula of these collisions, represented in these curated spaces.
