"Word. World.” takes the relationship between the writer, her words, and a community of writers and makes it a relationship between a writer, her words, and an audience. The writers and their words are diverse and surprising; their delivery is lively, and the camaraderie among them infects the audience. The result is five superb readings.
Earning an MFA in Writing is not an ending; it is a beginning. For the last two years these women and men have focused on understanding their art and their own processes as makers. These readings mark their steps over the threshold out into the world as writers.
