Artist Statement
Heroes are both real and unreal. Whether or not we believe in them, we have to live with them. I imagine that ubiquitous, overpowering figures like Captain Kirk and the Presidents of the United States must also be little human men, characters whose vulnerabilities and preoccupations could look a lot like mine, and maybe even yours.
